Компания Tether — эмитент стейблкоина USDT — авторизовала к выпуску 2 млрд монет в сетях TRON и Ethereum.
3 марта 2024 года в Whale Alert сообщили, что фирма пополнила резервы на 1 млрд USDT в сети Ethereum. Уже 4 марта появилась информация о выпуске 1 млрд монет в сети TRON.

Технический директор компании Паоло Ардоино отметил в своем X (ранее Twitter), что объем стейблкоинов на базе TRON и Ethereum авторизован, но не выпущен. По его словам, это означает, что он будет использован для дальнейшей эмиссии или свопов между блокчейнами.
На момент написания статьи капитализация USDT составляет $99,5 млрд.
По данным DeFiLlama, доминирование USDT на рынке составляет 70,44%.
